Background and Approach
Sometimes, words are not enough, or there simply are no words, to express a feeling or an experience. When we create, we are transported to a place full of endless possibilities, a place that is safe, where we can explore memories, feelings and ideas. My goal is to assist you, or your child, through the use of Art Therapy, towards self-expression, healing and life-enhancement. Art Therapy knows no boundaries. It reaches people of all ages, with all abilities, from all backgrounds and cultures.
Art Therapy can benefit everyone through a journey of healing and living your best life.
Karen Rosen, MA, LPAT, ATR-BC, is a licensed and board certified Art Therapist with over 25 years experience in the field. Karen provides individual, family and group Art Therapy services to children and adults in private practice in Morristown, NJ. In addition, Karen is an adjunct Professor at Caldwell University, Caldwell, NJ.
Karen is available to provide Art Therapy groups in a variety of settings, including, Corporate Health & Wellness events, Senior Living Facilities and Treatment Centers.
Other areas of expertise include: exhibiting original mixed media art; writing lyrics and performing vocals and percussion.

Karen Rosen has worked in a variety of Mental Health settings with children, adults, seniors and families, including out patient therapeutic agencies, schools and hospitals.
Certification in Sand Play Therapy from Lighthouse Counseling & Sand Play Training Center, LLC.
Art Therapy for All Ages
Virtual and In-Person
Karen Rosen is Certified and Experienced in providing Art Therapy to individuals beginning at age 4 onwards. The creative process is particularly effective when emotional verbal skills are not yet developed, or compromised, due to medical conditions.
Sessions are offered both In-Person and Virtually through phone and video calls. At home visits and on-site groups are available to fit individual needs.
