Background and Approach
Sometimes, words are not enough, or there simply are no words, to express a feeling or an experience. When we create, we are transported to a place full of endless possibilities, a place that is safe, where we can explore memories, feelings and ideas. My goal is to assist you, or your child, through the use of Art Therapy, towards self-expression, healing and life-enhancement. Art Therapy knows no boundaries. It reaches people of all ages, with all abilities, from all backgrounds and cultures. Art Therapy can benefit everyone!
Karen Rosen, MA, LPAT, ATR-BC, is a licensed and board certified Art Therapist with over 25 years experience in the field. Karen provides individual, family and group Art Therapy services to children and adults in private practice in Morristown, NJ. In addition, Karen is an adjunct Professor at Caldwell University, Caldwell, NJ.
Other interests include fundraising, travel, creating and exhibiting original mixed media art, writing, and performing vocals and percussion in two original bands.
