In my practice, my aim is to provide you with time and a place to find your voice. Sessions will utilize the creative process in a supportive, safe and nurturing environment. I work individually, or with couples and families. Additionally, parents are encouraged to play an active role in their child's treatment.
Art Therapy techniques may include drawing, painting, collage, Sandplay therapy, sculpture and 3-D art to explore feelings and experiences. I will provide materials and assist in the art making and therapeutic process. Art Therapy goals include reconciliation of emotional conflicts, self-awareness, management of behavior, improved relationships, social skills, reduced anxiety, and increased self-esteem.
